Micanopy Zoological Preserve began ten years ago when Jerry Holly made his son's dream come true. That dream for Rhudy Holly was to work with rare and non-native species. Jerry has devoted a part of his six houndred acre farm to the preservation and propagation of these magnificent animals. This dream has grown into a reality, over the past ten years, and MZP currently works with over twenty different species from two different continents.
